Many know the Treasurer is primarily tasked with managing Rhode Island’s investments and its public pension system. Yet, programs and initiatives run from the Treasurer’s office do much more to lend a helping hand to our families, small business owners, college bound students, hopeful homeowners and victims of crimes. Individuals with disabilities, people of color and others unfairly treated because of long-standing inequity – as well as anyone seeking to get a better grasp of their personal finances – can, and have, benefited from this critical office that I am uniquely qualified to lead.
